this is the most atmospheric of all the disney love songs, i think. there’s tension and passion and romance and awkwardness all mixed up into a soft, smooth, almost sensual melody. and yes, i realize it’s about lions. but it’s about lions in LOVE.

and then you have melodramatically weeping timon and pumbaa, which is just the cherry on top.

I love this part.. <3
